Privacy Policy

Thank you for using SnipSpark. This Privacy Policy explains what information the app handles, how it is used, and the choices available to you.

1. Information We Collect

SnipSpark does not require an account. We do not ask for or collect your name, e-mail address, phone number or any other contact details.

Videos you save are stored on your device only. We do not upload, store or share your saved content on our servers.

2. How the Download Service Works

When you paste an Instagram or TikTok link, the app sends that link to our own server, which forwards it to a third-party media provider in order to obtain a downloadable file. Only the link itself is transmitted — it is not connected to your identity and we do not build a profile from it.

Our server keeps a short-lived cache of recently requested links (a few hours) to reduce load, and a per-day request counter based on your IP address to prevent abuse. Neither is used to identify you.

3. Advertising

The free version of SnipSpark displays advertisements provided by Google AdMob. To serve and measure ads, AdMob may collect device identifiers, coarse location derived from your IP address, and app usage data. This processing is carried out by Google under its own privacy policy, available at policies.google.com/privacy.

On iOS you can limit ad personalisation from Settings › Privacy & Security › Tracking. Premium subscribers do not see advertisements.

4. Subscriptions and Payments

Premium subscriptions are processed entirely by Apple through the App Store. We never receive, see or store your payment details. We only store a local flag on your device indicating whether a subscription is active.

5. Device Backups

SnipSpark stores downloaded videos in the app's own folder on your device. If you have enabled iCloud or iTunes backups, that folder may be included in your personal backup, which is managed by Apple. SnipSpark has no access to your backups.

6. Children's Privacy

SnipSpark is not intended for use by children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

7. Your Control

You can delete any saved video, or all of them at once, from within the app; this removes the file from your device. Since we do not hold an account for you, there is nothing further for us to delete. If you have questions about data handled by our advertising partner, please refer to Google's privacy policy linked above.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last revised, and material changes will be announced in the app.
